The Ione Rural Fire Department (IRFD) siren located at City Hall has been repaired.  Columbia Basin Electric Cooperative found that the three phase power supply wasn’t working properly. Then, Shad Hass, Director, Public Works, was able to fix a blown fuse and tighten lose connections.  The Sheriff’s Office was then able to successfully test the siren.
